Response to the Coronavirus

Dear LifeBridge Church Family

Due to the recommendations of the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and our President concerning the Coronavirus outbreak, LifeBridge is suspending Sunday services, Wednesday evening prayer and Bible study, and most events through the end of March. We plan to postpone and reschedule the Munch and Learn scheduled for April 4. We will be continually reassessing our responsibilities and opportunities as we step through this unprecedented time.

We urge you please to follow the guidelines that are being advanced by the CDC as well as state and local authorities. This is a serious threat to many in our community and must not be ignored. Through prayer and adherence to the protocol, perhaps we can see a much faster resolution than might otherwise be possible.

It is important to resist the fear that can be more viral than the disease itself. We as God's people are to be moved by faith and not fear. We have an amazing opportunity to bring light into darkness and hope for despair. Let us resolve to be there for one another. If you need something, reach out to one of your friends at LifeBridge. If you feel ill or need counsel, Pastor Chuck and I are available by phone anytime to pray and to talk with you. If you or a loved one find that you have an urgent matter or life-threatening emergency, we will make ourselves available for a personal visit on a case-by-case basis. You may contact Pastor Scott at 843-606-0375.

If you learn that someone has a need and you have the capacity to meet that need, please do so. Reach out to your neighbors, particularly those most vulnerable by offering your resources, prayers, and words of encouragement. We believe that God will give us opportunities to share His love and to do so generously and fearlessly. This is an opportunity to share the gospel of Christ's redeeming love with unbelievers who may be experiencing fear and uncertainty. Pray for repentant hearts both among the lost and the found

We encourage you to set aside time each day to read God's word and to pray. Attached is the two-year Bible reading plan we have distributed at church.

In addition, we exhort the spiritual leader of your household to study and lead a devotional time each Sunday. Pastors Scott and Chuck are preparing devotions for individual or family use which will be emailed each Saturday.  We trust these will provide a framework for you to lead yourself and others into God's presence through His word and worship.

Finally, please continue your gifts of tithes and offerings so that the church may continue to meet its obligations and gifts to our missionaries and mission organizations.

You may give online on this site or via mail to 2312 Rifle Range Road, Mount Pleasant, 29466. Thank you for your faithful and generous support!

May the Lord bless you and keep you,

Pastor Scott and Dorothy
